Is the Discovery Call really free?
Absolutely. We believe in starting our relationship with a no-obligation conversation. This 20-30 minute call lets us learn about your business, goals, and challenges, and helps us both decide if we’re a good fit. Think of it as the first handshake on your journey to success. Additionally, during this session, we can explore our Agency Services and 1:1 Psychological Leadership Support Options, which range from focused short-term consultations to long-term ongoing weekly support.
How long is a typical strategy session?
Each strategy session typically lasts 60 or 90 minutes, but can also be booked as half-day or full-day engagements, while sessions, such as our roadmapping service, can range from 4 to 5 hours. This allows us to delve deeply into your unique challenges and opportunities while ensuring we provide comprehensive and actionable insights.

When you book a strategy session, you will be matched with the most suitable expert for your needs.
For our in-depth strategy and applied psychology services, you’ll be working with David P. Ban, the agency’s founder. David brings hands-on experience in venture building, having successfully launched several businesses himself. He holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, advanced degrees in Computer Science, and certifications in Jungian and Post-Jungian Clinical Concepts. He also holds multiple EMCC-accredited credentials in Coaching, Mentoring, and Team Coaching. His extensive background ensures you receive expert guidance rooted in both strategic insight and deep psychological understanding.

How do I prepare for a strategy session?
To make the most of your session, come prepared with specific challenges or questions you want to address. Providing any relevant background information or data will also help us tailor the discussion to your needs.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Keep in mind that discovery calls are complimentary – if you know you won’t be able to attend your scheduled call, please let us know as soon as possible.
For other appointment’s:
You can postpone an agreed appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time by emailing us to arrange a new date. We’ll aim to hold your replacement session within 21 days of the original appointment. If you miss your appointment or cancel less than 24 hours beforehand, the session is typically forfeited, though we reserve the right to make exceptions in individual cases.
What is your refund policy for appointments and packages?
For individual appointments, if you cancel up to 24 hours before your scheduled time and do not wish to reschedule, we offer a full refund of your payment—no questions asked. If you prefer, you can also choose to set an alternative appointment date.
Please note that packages are non-refundable. We invest significant time upfront in research, analysis, interviews, and questionnaires to ensure you receive the best possible experience. Because of this intensive preparation, refunds for packages are not possible. However, we do offer flexibility: each appointment within a package can be rescheduled as needed, ensuring you can still benefit from our services on your terms.
Can you cancel or postpone my appointment?
Yes. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone individual appointments. If this happens, we’ll inform you in advance and offer a full refund of any payments made, unless we both agree on a new date. No further compensation can be claimed beyond the refund.

How many people will be working on my project?
We typically assemble 5–8 experts for each project, ensuring every client receives specialised attention. Our lean, agile structure allows us to move quickly while providing top-notch service and expertise.

What is your payment structure for projects?
We generally split payments into three stages:
- 50% upfront
- 25% upon sign-off
- 25% upon completion
However, we understand every business and founder’s situation is unique. If these terms need adjusting, let us know. We’re flexible and committed to finding a structure that works for both parties.
Does BAN® Venture Agency trade services for equity?
Yes, in certain situations we do! Our venture investment model can cover up to 50% of all service fees for a set period—ranging from several months up to 2 years—or be structured via other mutually agreeable terms. We carefully evaluate each opportunity to ensure there’s a clear and achievable path toward financial success for both parties.
Do you ensure confidentiality?
We understand that discussing sensitive business ideas and personal challenges requires complete privacy. That’s why we maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality with all parties as agreed upon. Our consultations comply with all applicable laws related to personal data and communications, ensuring that every conversation, whether in a strategy session or psychology-driven consultation, is secure and handled with the utmost care. Furthermore, we agree not to disclose any information pertaining to the participant, or use the participant’s name as a reference, without the participant’s written consent. Do you sign NDA´s before we talk?
At BAN® Venture Agency, we understand that confidentiality is crucial when discussing sensitive business ideas and strategies. Because we work with many companies and hear hundreds of ideas each year, we prefer to start with an initial conversation before entering into any contractual agreements. This first discussion helps us determine if there’s a good fit between our visions without requiring you to disclose proprietary secrets or your “special sauce.” In our experience, project NDAs often don’t clearly define what’s covered, which can create unnecessary complications. If we both feel it’s a good match and decide to move forward, we can address all contractual matters, including NDAs, at that time.
